FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:Where Are Your Courses Held?

A: All of our Hand Gun, Ar-15, Shotgun and Rifle training classes are held at our private outdoor shooting training range located on 27812 FM 902, Collinsville, TX 76223. We are located 25 miles north of the intersection of hwy. 377 and hwy. 380 which is half way between Denton and McKinney.

If you google FM 902 and HWY 377, Collinsville Texas 76233, you’ll get within 1.5 miles of us.

Going north on Hwy 377, (or FM 1385), right after Tioga Texas, (6 miles), you’ll come upon the small town of Collinsville. You’ll see the Collinsville water tower. (Do NOT go past, (north) of the water tower.) You will come to FM 902 (towards Lake Kiowa) and make a left (west) turn and from that point go exactly 1.5 miles ( don’t go too fast or you’ll whizz right by us) till you see a small green road sign that says ” w Line rd. “. Look immediately to your left and see our flag pole with the American flag and turn left into our dirt driveway veering up on around to the left to the range.

When it comes time for your class we will make sure you have map and instructions on getting here.

Q: How Much Are Courses (and How Long Are They)?

A: Our classes are typically 2, 3, or 4 hours long. We cover the essentials during 2-hour classes, go much deeper with more drills during the 3-hour classes, and really take you to expert through an 4-hour class. You can see our typical classes and pricing here:

Q:What Should I Bring With Me To The Class (Or To Training)?

For  handgun and rifle training, you will need  to bring your firearm (if you do not have one, let us know in advance!), a holster that fits your gun, a spare magazine pouch, at least three magazines, and we estimate about 100 rounds of ammo per hour of training.   This amount may be more than needed, depending on your training, but it is better to have too much and take it home.   Also be sure to bring ear and eye protection (again, if you don’t have this, let us know in advance), visor or ball cap and be sure to wear closed-toe shoes (no sandals!), and dress for shooting outside.
